Vision

About

An evolution of empowerment, healing mind, body, and spirit, changing the way we think about our future.

JADA House International was founded in 2014 by Hazelwood native Terri Shields and named for the initials of her eldest grandchildren. While the focus is currently on Hazelwood and Greater Pittsburgh communities, the International in the name is aspirational. We hope that communities worldwide can see us as a model and eventually adopt our kindness, our generosity, and our love. There are better opportunities for impact when solutions are collaborative and across all sectors.

JADA House International is a faith-based institution that provides resources, support, and family navigation for at-risk teens, women, and kinship care for senior citizens.

We aim to encourage and empower individuals to believe, receive, and achieve the full quality of life that they deserve.

Through human service navigation, peer-to-peer support, and weekly group interactions, we provide a safe space for healing and personal growth beyond one's expectations.
